Tuesday September 22

Today we read, "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds.   We then worked on making our own dot paintings using paper plates and watercolor paint.  We love to see everyone being so creative when using paint.

We had gym with Mr. Der.  We went outside and we are working on learning which home team number we are in.  We will continue to practice remembering our numbers for our home team.  We worked with bean bags and practiced throwing and catching.

Please note: library book exchange will happen tomorrow as there is no school on Thursday.  Please send your child's book to school with them if they would like to get a new book.

If you have not booked a time slot for your virtual parent teacher conference, please do so as soon as possible.  Thanks!

Monday September 21

Today is Picture Day at school!  We love seeing everyone dressed in their finest with their bright smiles. We continued to talk about our families and drew a picture with sharpie of the people who live in our house.  We read the story "We Belong Together" by Todd Parr.  We also had a chance to explore our new Fall loose part bags.  Please ask your child what was in the bag and what stories they were able to tell. We had music with Mrs. Coulson.  Please ask your child what they did in the music room. Please note: library book exchange will happen on Wednesday this week as there is no school on Thursday.  Please send your child's book to school with them Wednesday if they would like to get a new book.
