We wrote our first stories today!  Each student was given 2 stickers as a writing prompt.  We then drew pictures to add to our sticker stories.  We tried to label our pictures with the first sound we hear in words. The morning students had Halloween Storytime with Mrs. Kinsman.  Please ask your child what stories they listened to. Kindergarten will be reciting this poem for our Remembrance Day Virtual Assembly.  Please help your child to practice the words at home.  We will be recording ourselves reciting the poem on Monday November 3. Eric Harvie School will celebrate Halloween on Thursday October 29.  All children are invited to wear a costume if they would like.  Please note: students must still wear their masks.  Costume mask can not replace their usual mask.  Please make sure y

We had gym and music today.  Please ask your child what they did with Mr. Der and Mrs. Coulson. We continue to work on patterning at school.  We are learning to label the core of the pattern using letters, for example an AB pattern or an ABC pattern.  Challenge your child to find a pattern at home and ask them to name the core of the pattern.  Here is a fun math pattern game to play online.
