Friday is AM Friday.  There is no school Friday January 29 as it is a Professional Development day.

Today at school we learned how to draw a penguin.  We labelled the parts of the penguin in our drawing.  Please try this art hub for kids to learn to draw a cartoon penguin if you like.  Cartoon penguin

We practiced the letter N and turned our letter N's into ninjas!  Letter N song

Monday September 21

Today is Picture Day at school!  We love seeing everyone dressed in their finest with their bright smiles. We continued to talk about our families and drew a picture with sharpie of the people who live in our house.  We read the story "We Belong Together" by Todd Parr.  We also had a chance to explore our new Fall loose part bags.  Please ask your child what was in the bag and what stories they were able to tell. We had music with Mrs. Coulson.  Please ask your child what they did in the music room. Please note: library book exchange will happen on Wednesday this week as there is no school on Thursday.  Please send your child's book to school with them Wednesday if they would like to get a new book. If you have not booked a time slot for your virtual parent teacher conference, please do so as soon as possible.  Thanks! There is no school Thursday September 24 (virtual parent teacher conferences) and Friday September 25 (professional day).
