The Scholastic Virtual Book Fair is a fantastic way to continue to give our students access to the books they want to read. We’re excited that you will be able to shop together, selecting the books that inspire your readers, from the comfort of home. All purchases benefit our school and earn Rewards that can be redeemed for books and Education Resources for our school’s classrooms and library. Today we practiced the letter D. Letter D Song. We used q-tips and paint to paint dots on the letter D.
We the story "Be Who You Are" by Todd Parr. We continued to talk about what makes us unique. We drew pictures of our family, our interests and ourselves in our journals. We took time to look closely at ourselves and drew pictures that most looked like us.
Please enjoy the You-nique song!
We talked about the number 7 and practiced drawing it and making 7 in many ways. We looked at breaking 7 down into two groups. For example, if I have 1, how many more do I need to make 7?
Can you practice writing 7 and counting out 7 at home with objects?
Due to conferences on Thursday, we will do book exchange tomorrow. Please return your child's book Thank you.
