Family Night is tonight

Family Night is every Wednesdays from 6:00 – 8:00 PM local time – FREE shipping on all orders placed during this time. 

Today was dress like a teacher day.  It was fun to see everyone dressed up!

We had book exchange.

We learned about the letter X and made the letter x into a xylophone. Listen to the letter X song.

We played a 2D and 3D sorting game on the smartboard and did a sorting activity.

We had our Kindergarten Celebration of Learning Assembly today. We have been working very hard in our classrooms learning about Penguins. We hope you enjoyed watching about all of our learning. The link has been sent to you by email for you to enjoy at home.

 Tomorrow is library day.  Please return your library book. Friday is AM Friday.  There is no school Friday January 29 as it is a Professional Development day. We started learning about 2d and 3d shapes. The children were given popsicle sticks and pipe cleaners and had to make as many shapes as they could. We talked about each shape and what it looks like. We played shape games with a partner where one partner drew a shape and the other had to ask yes or no questions to try and figure out what the shape is. For example, "Does it have 4 corners?" "Does it have 3 sides?" etc.  We continued to work on our penguin dioramas.  We had music and gym. Ask your child what they did with Mrs. Coulson and Mr. Der? Wednesday is PINK shirt day. We used q-tips and paint to paint dots on the letter D.
