Today was a busy day in Kindergarten. We started the morning with our loose parts Spring bags. We created something with our loose parts and told a story about it. If you have loose parts at home, what can you create? Can you share a story with someone at home?

We had library, music, centers and outside gym at the playground.

We continued to work on a special surprise for Mother's day. It will come home with the students today. :)

Friday is AM Friday - only AM children will need to log into their google meet.

On Friday May 7 we will offer 2 google meet times.  Please choose the time that works best for your child to attend. 

Session #1 9:15am 30 mins

Session #2 10:00am 30 mins

The remainder of Friday will be for Mrs. Mask and Mrs. Conley to plan for online learning.   If you are in need of a technology loaners from the school, please email your child's teacher ASAP.  

Similar to winter online learning, please have your child ready with paper, pencil, colors, glue and scissors for school each day.

 Tomorrow is library day.  Please return your library book. Friday is AM Friday.  There is no school Friday January 29 as it is a Professional Development day. Monday February 22

We started learning about 2d and 3d shapes. The children were given popsicle sticks and pipe cleaners and had to make as many shapes as they could. We talked about each shape and what it looks like. We played shape games with a partner where one partner drew a shape and the other had to ask yes or no questions to try and figure out what the shape is. For example, "Does it have 4 corners?" "Does it have 3 sides?" etc.  We continued to work on our penguin dioramas.  We had music and gym. Ask your child what they did with Mrs. Coulson and Mr. Der? Wednesday is PINK shirt day. We used q-tips and paint to paint dots on the letter D.
