Today we learned about how doctors and nurses are community heroes; especially during this pandemic. We discussed how PPE may look a little silly or strange but behind their masks, doctors and nurses are friendly, kind, and caring people who look a lot like the average person. Doctors and nurses help us heal if we are sick or hurt and they are working harder than ever.
We learned about the letter O and practiced printing O and made the O into an owl. Can you find items at home that start with the letter O? Listen to Jolly Phonics Letter O Song
In math, we did measurement activity that involved cutting out wiggly worms to practice comparing length. We used the words longer, shorter, longest and shortest to describe and compare our worms.
In gym, we played three games that helped us practice balance. Our games were Night Guard, Line Tag, and Pool Noodle Relay Races!
Friday is PM Kindergarten. We will be going on a community walk in the morning. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Please pack your child a snack they can place in their pocket as we will stop during our walk for a snack break. Thank you.
