Thursday April 8

Today was picture day.

We added truck driver as one of our community helpers. The pandemic has shown us just how essential the work of a truck driver is! We talked about how trucks help bring food from the farm into the city grocery stores.

We also had library exchange, music and gym. Ask your child about what they created in music.

Tomorrow is AM kindergarten.

A message from Mrs. Coulson

Some of the EHS students have been working hard creating plays.  As this work has progressed they have shown interest in carrying these plays forward to something that they can perform and perhaps film.  They have been working on set, props and costume design and are hopeful that they can create these themselves.  If you have any of the following to donate we would really appreciate it. There will be a cart outside the front of the school at pick up and drop off times for any donations, you may also send them with your student to give to me.

Here are some ideas:

Fabric

Wings

Wire coat hangers

Elastic

Headbands

Barrettes

Safety Pins

Thread

Costume Pieces

Here are the plays in case they help inspire somethings you may not have thought of:

  1. Stone Slop (Monster version of Stone Soup)
  2. Aladdin and the Magic Pickle Jar (Pixie, Aladdin, Goes from North Pole to Airport)
  3. June Bug and the Flea (Every sort of bug)
  4. The Prince Frog (Speaks for itself)
  5. Queen Midas (Queen and ladies in waiting, Magician, Photographer, Soccer players)
  6. Jack and the Giant Sunflower
  7. Claynocchio (Gingerbread person, Clay figure)
  8. Clinky Planky Tenbo (D.J., Teacher, animals)
  9. Three Silly Goats Gruff (Lady Bug, Goats)
  10. The Elves and the Young Stu Baker

Thank you for your support,

Jennele Coulson
