Friday April 9

Today we had our elder Saa'kokotoo join us on screen and listened to traditional stories.  We also learned about Land Acknowledgments and had a sharing circle to share some things we are grateful for. We then created our own heart map art to share what is special to us. 

I am grateful for: 

Anthony- My mom and dad let me play video games.

Savannah- I get to come to school and have fun.

Bella- My baby brother being born.

Athan- Playing with Phineas and Madden.

Tavi- My parents letting me play Dragon Quest.

Milan- I get to come to school.

Georgia- It is warm out and spring.

Amy- My Mom, my sister and I play roadbloxs. 

Sadie- I have a new trailer. 

Blake- I get to play with Sadie and Ashley.

Phineas- Playing on the computer.

Allison- For Haizel.

Bryelle- I get to go to dance. 

Kaylie- Thankful I get to walk my dog.

Ashley-I am alive and get to play with friends.

Haizel- I am thankful for Allison.

Nathan- Thankful for my family.

Lochlan- Playing with friends.

Grayson-Playing with my sister. 

Lyla M- Bake cookies with my mom.

Admir- For Kaylee.

Carlos- Playing with cousin and at the cabin.

Chelsea- Sharing with my family.

Mila- For friends.

Lyla G - For friends.

Brooks- Controller time. 

Bennett- My house.

Alanna-  My sister.

Brandon- Playing at the park.

Amelia S- For Leia.

Leia- For Amelia.

Madden- For my house.

Jack H- Drawing.

Yashraj- My switch.

Thomas- My family.

Sammy- My family.

Adalyn- My family. 

In math, we read Length by Henry Pluckrose and we gathered items from around the room and placed them in order from tallest to shortest.

We completed the day in gym with games and a quick cool down of yoga based on appreciating nature. Ask your child how they can be a tree, a waterfall, a fish, and a flower.
