Friday April 16

Today in Kindergarten, we learned about the meaning and the purpose of land acknowledgements and had a sharing circle to say what we are grateful for, then we created a heart map to express our gratitude visually.

Our Kindergarten class had fun exploring the community today. It was a beautiful day to be outside. We went on a kindness community walk. We are learning about community and we wanted to explore in our community to see what we noticed. Along the way we stopped and wrote messages of kindness in chalk for people in our community to enjoy. Ask your child what they found in our community. How did your child spread kindness?

We had music with Mrs. Coulson.

Thank you for sending in cereal boxes. Have a wonderful weekend!
