We looked at the 3D shapes we have learned about and talked about their attributes. Can you find any 3D shapes in our community while you are walking home? Out shopping? 

We reviewed the letters we have been learning about. Your child should be able to say the letter and the corresponding sound. F E D P B R N M H K L U V W.

We had music. Ask me what we did today?

We had book exchange and fun snack.

We had centers. What center did your child play at?

We enjoyed the beautiful shine outside for gym!

Tomorrow is a PM kindergarten day. 











Spirit Days are back for the month of March. We had so much fun in December that we have decided to do it again! Spirit Days will be every Wednesday in March with different themes. We look forward to see what you come up with.

 Tomorrow is library day.  Please return your library book. Friday is AM Friday.  There is no school Friday January 29 as it is a Professional Development day. We started learning about 2d and 3d shapes. The children were given popsicle sticks and pipe cleaners and had to make as many shapes as they could. We talked about each shape and what it looks like. We played shape games with a partner where one partner drew a shape and the other had to ask yes or no questions to try and figure out what the shape is. For example, "Does it have 4 corners?" "Does it have 3 sides?" etc.  We continued to work on our penguin dioramas.  We had music and gym. Ask your child what they did with Mrs. Coulson and Mr. Der? Wednesday is PINK shirt day. We used q-tips and paint to paint dots on the letter D.
