Wednesday December 9
Today we learned about the zones of regulation. We focused on the blue zone. We read the story, When I Feel Sad
Ask your child about what it means when we are in the blue zone.
When we are in the blue zone we might feel : sad, sick, tired, bored, lonely, disappointed, shy and slow moving.
Ask your child what might help them to feel better when we are in the blue zone.
We drew a picture of our face to show what it might look like when we are in the blue zone.
We had a virtual visit with our Indigenous Elder, Saa'kokotoo. Ask your child what he spoke to us about.
We made ornaments to decorate a wreath to donate to a seniors home. We are very happy to share some holiday cheer with them.
