We reread the story, "Goldilocks and Just One Bear". This time when reading the story, we focused on what happened in the beginning, the middle and the end of the story. We drew pictures to show our understanding of beginning, middle and end. Ask your child to retell you about what happens in the story.  

When reading to your child tonight, see if your child can sequence events in the story.

We worked on ordering numbers from 1-10 and 10-1. We worked in groups and each received a card with a number on it and had to try and place ourselves in order. If you have a deck of cards at home, you can practice this with your child. Have them place them in order form 1-10 then 10-1. You can also try starting at any given number and see if your child can sequence in order from that number. For example, start at number 3 and go to 10. 

We reviewed the letter F and talked about the sound it makes and what starts with the letter F. Can you make the letter F at home out of loose parts? 

We had gym outside at the playground.

Tomorrow is Library book exchange.  Please send your child's book to school with them.
