Tuesday November 10

Today we started our morning by making a patchwork for the letter E. We cut up strips of paper and made a quilt of colours on the letter E and then practiced how to print the letter.

We continued learning about colour mixing.  We using paints to explore how to create secondary colours by using the primary colours.

We read the story, "The Peace Book" by Todd Parr. We talked about what peace means to each of us and how peace is important especially when thinking about Remembrance Day. We drew pictures in our journals and practiced our writing about what peace is.

Jacket Racket 2020

We need your help!  We are currently collecting winter wear for Jacket Racket as we have for the past 4 years.  Due to Covid restrictions, we ask that you drop off new or gently used items in the collection bins outside the front door of the school.  Jacket Racket will accept coats, hats, mittens/gloves, boots, etc. in children's and adult sizes.  Please ensure the items are cleaned and in good condition.

Thank you so much for thinking of others during this challenging time!
