We had music and gym today.  Please ask your child what they did in these classes.

We spent some time thinking about what we like best about our selves and why.  We copied words to make a sentence.

We had library book exchange.

The morning students had the opportunity to meet with our indigenous elder, Saa'KoKoToo. 

Both AM/PM classes will be spending time outside tomorrow, please make sure your child has snow pants, boots, and gloves/mitts.

Important October Dates

Friday, Oct 23 AM Classes Attends & PM Classes Attends - you might wonder why both classes are attending at the same time? This date was originally scheduled as a field trip for the whole school to Glenbow Ranch.  Due to Covid protocols we are no longer allowed to go on field trips.  We look forward to having both AM/PM kiddos at school together on Friday.

 Tomorrow is library day.  Please return your library book. Friday is AM Friday.  There is no school Friday January 29 as it is a Professional Development day. Monday February 22

We started learning about 2d and 3d shapes. The children were given popsicle sticks and pipe cleaners and had to make as many shapes as they could. We talked about each shape and what it looks like. We played shape games with a partner where one partner drew a shape and the other had to ask yes or no questions to try and figure out what the shape is. For example, "Does it have 4 corners?" "Does it have 3 sides?" etc.  We continued to work on our penguin dioramas.  We had music and gym. Ask your child what they did with Mrs. Coulson and Mr. Der? Wednesday is PINK shirt day. We used q-tips and paint to paint dots on the letter D.
